These terms apply to purchases through thelove.press. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to order.
One book, made for you
You’re buying a physical hardcover book, illustrated from your photos and delivered to your chosen address. The launch edition is A4 landscape, with 34 pages. Choose 16–30 photos; we take care of the layout. The examples show the illustration style, rather than an exact promise of how each photo will look.
Illustrations are created with AI and may change details. Check faces, text, colours and important moments in your proof before approving it. Your book must still match the description and meet the quality standards required by law.
Price and payment
The book costs €99, including standard shipping to the countries offered at checkout. The checkout shows the complete amount, currency and applicable taxes before you pay. There is no subscription. Any extra copy or other optional purchase needs your agreement and a separate payment.
Stripe handles payment. Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and we provide your order confirmation. Keep that confirmation and your private order link.
From payment to print
- Pay and give us your delivery details.
- Upload your photos and add your title and any dedication.
- Review your illustrated book on your private order page.
- Approve the proof, or choose Request changes.
- After approval, our print partner Peecho produces and ships your book.
You can request up to two rounds of changes before approval at no extra charge. Tell us what needs fixing in one set of notes for each round. If your proof still isn’t right, contact us before approving; we’ll review the problem or arrange a refund under our cancellation policy. Fixing our mistakes does not use up your included rounds of changes.
Approval applies to the exact proof you see, including its text and layout. Printing may start soon after you approve. We never treat silence as approval.
Your photos and private link
Only upload photos and text you’re entitled to use and share with us and our production providers. Respect the privacy of everyone pictured; get any permission that is needed, including from a parent or guardian for children. Do not upload unlawful, exploitative or rights-infringing content, or identity documents and sensitive medical information.
You keep your rights in your original material. You give us the permission needed to illustrate, lay out, print and deliver your book, handle support and use the providers described in our privacy policy. This does not give us permission to use your photos in advertising.
Your order link gives access to your photos and proof. Keep it private and contact us if it is lost or shared accidentally.
Changes, cancellation and delivery
You can cancel for a full refund if your request reaches us before we submit your book to the printer. Approval can be followed quickly by submission, so ask before approving if you want to cancel. We handle cancellations manually. Once submitted, a change of mind does not normally give a right to return a clearly personalised book. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied books remain covered by your legal rights. See Cancellations & refunds and Delivery.
We are responsible for your order, including the work of our print and delivery partners. If we cannot fulfil it, we will tell you and refund any amount due. We can refuse unlawful content, but will not keep payment for a book we do not supply.
Your rights and complaints
Contact us with your order number and what went wrong. You can also use Romania’s ANPC consumer complaints service or alternative dispute resolution platform.
Romanian law applies, while any mandatory consumer protection you have in your country of residence remains available. You retain the right to bring a claim in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. These terms do not exclude rights or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
The terms shown when you order apply to that order. Later changes apply to future purchases.
